Upward Basketball

Collins's first season of Upward Basketball was such a success (for the player and her coach) that they were both excited for season #2 to arrive. The first weekend of January it did, and the Lady Wildcats were ready to take the court. And this year, Collins had a fun teammate- Alice- her favorite friend from class! Alice's Dad, Whitt, was Brian's assistant coach so we had a lot to look forward to this season.

Coming out of the tunnel this year was no big deal for Collins. Last year, she was terrified! Overall, she was so much more confident this season. It showed in her attitude and her play on the court.

She inbounded the ball, she dribbled up the court, she took multiple shots and made them- her very first game! We were very impressed with her improvement from last year.

 

Strong first game for Collins and the Lady Wildcats. Excited for the season ahead.
