Fall Baking

No doubt Fall is my favorite time of the year to bake. There are just not enough days in October and November for me to try out all the delicious pumpkin, apple, and pecan recipes that I crave, but I try to make as many as possible. And guess who's in the kitchen excited to be helping this time around?

Football Fever

Can you tell we are heavy into football season?!?

Climbing Girl

If you can't find Collins, look up. Chances are good she is up a tree or climbing a structure of some sort. Our girl is clearly not afraid of heights and uses those strong legs to get herself as high as possible. Just pray this new interest does not result in a broken bone!

Backyard Time

Our new backyard is a game changer. The kids love being out there now even though they can't play on the grass yet. No worries- Luke is happy riding around in that red jeep and throwing the football. We'll move that football game onto the grass soon.

Reading Time

Love walking into this scene and can't wait until she is reading to him for real! It's been neat to watch her learn the building blocks of reading in kindergarten this year, and I hope it will click for her early on. We watched Collins struggle to read for many years, and I hope Addie doesn't feel that same frustration as she starts this important process. I'm encouraged by what I've seen her do so far!

Soccer Shots

Luke had a great season of soccer shots thanks to a little more maturity, some nice friends to play with, and a great coach. He even survived the cold mornings and a team photo!
