Good Fishing

Did you know you could fish out of the shed? Luke found a good fishing spot one afternoon in the backyard, and we had a good time catching lots of big tunas. :)

Big on Reading

"Harry Potter" was the series that got Collins "hooked" on reading. With so much extra time on her hands, she had plenty of time to start and finish the seven gigantic books. Look at the size of this one! I don't think I have ever read a book this large in my lifetime, and she was thrilled to get this new one in the mail. She would disappear for hours in her room to read (which annoyed Addie to no end), but I was thrilled that she finally got hooked. We had always worried that she didn't like reading, but no more. She couldn't get enough thanks to Harry Potter!

Spring Growth

We had so many reasons to be fearful and anxious in the Spring of 2020, but when the peonies and hosta burst forth from the ground in April, it was hard not to get excited and hopeful. I love watching these plants grow every year, and this year especially we would appreciate all the beauty from our yard.

Fun with a Bunny

The Coronavirus taught us that when you are really bored, you'll come up with creative new ways to entertain yourself. A bunny and a sprinkler is the perfect example of this!
