Did you know that riding the bus to church makes it a really attractive Sunday morning option? My kids love the bus, and this particular Sunday we actually got ready in time to be able to ride it!
Brian went to West Virginia for a big football game, and I took Luke to the Doves' Bible presentation at church. The Doves are the first official Sunday School class at our church, and the members of this class are presented with their first Bible each Fall. So it was Luke's turn...
He did great! When his name was called, he walked up to the front of the room to receive his Bible from Pastor Adam and Ms. Karen and get a picture taken. It was a simple, but sweet ceremony. I am excited for him to grow up in our loving and engaged church with hopefully some lifelong friends from this Doves class. I also can't wait to read him from his very own Bible! It was a special morning.
