Day Versus Night

I usually fit a football doubleheader in about every other year. The timing works out where State has a morning game and Carolina has a night game so I can go to both fun events. The second game of the season worked out this way so it was a football showdown of day versus night.

To sum it up, the State tailgate was fun but hot. That's why you see the chocolate bark melted all over our faces. Later that night, it did not really cool down UNTIL 11:30 pm. I'm not kidding you, I literally sweated all day and night and pretty much throughout the entire UNC game which lasted over four hours! We did not leave Chapel Hill until 12:30 a.m. BUT, we beat Miami in one of the most exciting Carolina football games I have ever seen. Totally worth the stinky sweat and late night out. And just look at that beautiful bell tower turned blue. Such a cool game and night spent with Andrea and Missy.

So basically I spent 16 hours that first Saturday in September surrounded by football. Perhaps a little much, but what a fun day and night. And it goes without saying that the night was much better than the day. :)
