No, I'm not joking. Addie's soccer team's name is the Banana Slugs- proof is on her shirt right there. The timing was not good for her first Salvation Army game- it was the week she had been sick and had her school staggered entry, and it was just crazy hot. But we pushed ahead and hoped she would do okay. I was proud of her for getting out there and trying, but poor thing did not have a lot of energy on that field. But she did have fun being out there with her Daddy, and we are looking forward to the rest of the season cheering on those Banana Slugs!
