Fall Fun Day

Good news- after waiting a whole year- "Fall Fun Day" was back! Everyone knows this is the second best day of the year after Christmas Eve. Because what could be more fun than getting the girls (and Luke and Brian) together to jam pack our most favorite Fall activities into one day? Pretty much nothing! Let the fun begin.

We maxed out our bus and headed toward Page Farm...

But didn't realize how cold it was! This was a new twist for the pumpkin patch...

Luckily, once the sun came out we warmed up and had fun jumping in corn kernels...

sliding down barrels...

gazing at livestock...

 leaping over hay bales...

 and going on a hayride.

We picked out some great pumpkins...

hopped up on a tractor, and then quickly moved on to the next item on the agenda. No grass growing under our feet on this day of Fall fun!

We had to get home and make monster mix because that is tradition. You cannot stop eating this stuff- it's that addictive. Collins demonstrates.

Then we were off again because Addie wanted to show off her bike riding skills. Baba was happy to help her get started.

Next, we headed to patch #2 because we needed small pumpkins to paint...

 check!

We painted pumpkins last year and had so much fun that we kept it a part of Fall Fun Day. Luke made his very purple-y...

while Addie painted the "night sky".
Aren't they cute all lined up?

Finally, the part of the day which Collins was most excited about..."Hocus Pocus"! She claims this is her favorite movie of all time which I think might not be true, but it is still a must-see for Halloween.

We cozied up to the movie, Luke drove us crazy, Brian cooked us a yummy dinner, and then we said goodbye to the second most fun day of the year. It certainly did not disappoint! Now the hard part...waiting till next year!
