Church Fall Fest

My girls always get excited for Fall Fest at church because it's the big debut of their Halloween costumes- plus they think Trunk or Treating is awesome.

This year we had a hard time deciding what to be for Halloween. But the final decision turned out to be perfect because Addie made a fabulous unicorn (thank you Mimi!)…
Luke loved his soft dragon costume (thank you TJ Maxx!)...

and Collins was born to be a peacock (thank you Donna!)!

They made adorable fantastical animals, don't you think?

Off to church for games, prizes, and way too much candy...

Addie and Stewart were excited to find each other and hang out...

And Collins and Reeves coordinated perfectly...
Finally, it was time for Trunk or Treating. Even Luke got into it this year (once I let him eat a Twix bar his eyes were opened)…

Collins and Reeves were quite aggressive with the Trunk or Treating- we couldn't even find them at points but luckily they resurfaced at the end. Addie was happy to stick close- especially with large dragons floating about. She had fun with Harrison and Tyler, too.

After the event, all the parents were wondering, "Why do we even need to do Halloween now?" The kids got to dress up, win prizes, play with their friends, and get more candy than their pail could hold. What more do you need? They came home happy with their stash, but still excited for more Halloween parties to come!
