Lots of kids got snow days that first weekend in January. We got a snow hour, and the girls totally made the most of it! Upon driving into Blenheim from Wrightsville Beach, the girls were amazed to see it white. They were so excited to see snow (even the tiny bit that there was) and immediately asked if they could go out and play in it.
They ran outside and did everything you want to do in the snow (eating snow, sledding, making a snowman, snowball fight) just in a small amount of time and with a small amount of snow. But they didn't care, they had a great time and got to drink hot chocolate after it was over. And it was a good thing they went quick because later that afternoon it warmed up and was gone!
