We are lucky because we get to celebrate multiple Thanksgivings each year. This year, we celebrated with Mom on Friday, and how excited was Baba to hang out with her two favorite boys?
She gifted Luke with something super exciting...
new bear slippers! Baba had given him this exact pair about a year before, and he loved them so much he refused to stop wearing them even when his feet had grown way out of them. So Baba was thrilled to find him a new pair.

I know I'm psychotic to take a picture of the sweet potato casserole, but I mean, look at the size of that crust!
Mimi came prepared with a festive kids tables and some fun crafts to go with it...
We filled ourselves with that wonderful food, and then we got some energy out in the leaf pile. Basically the kids undid all the work that Mom's yard man had done. :)
but we rallied enough energy to take a walk through the woods...
and get a few more family pictures. 😉

See why Thanksgiving is the best? The best food, good hang out time with the family, a nice mix of fun activities and relaxation, and gorgeous Fall weather to boot! It was a great Thanksgiving Day #2, and I was very grateful for it.
