At the first hint of warm weather (we're talking March), Collins was pleading with us to let her have a lemonade stand. We held her off till the first Sunday in May and then surprised her with the idea. She said, "You're ACTUALLY going to LET ME HAVE A LEMONADE STAND?!?" I really rocked her world when I told her we could also make strawberry mini cupcakes to go with the lemonade. :) The only caveat? Her sister would be included in this lemonade stand.
Things were going really well. You see they both were stuffing their faces- Collins with multiple glasses of lemonade and Addie with as many tiny cupcakes as she could reach.
They were enjoying each other's company and getting some customers...

And then Addie spilled the lemonade everywhere...including on the cupcakes. Collins was not happy..."No cupcakes for a year!!!" she yelled.

Such a fun afternoon despite the soggy cupcakes. Collins did tell everyone later that Addie "ruined" the lemonade stand. But I will choose to remember this sweet moment from the first sister lemonade stand. :)
