Last Day of School

The 3's class ended their school year in a neat way- with a field trip to a strawberry farm. What an incredible class she had this year- good, smart kids who really got along well- and two amazing teachers who impressed me every day. They ran a disciplined, creative, and fun classroom. We feel so lucky that she was placed in this classroom this year!

The kids got their instructions for strawberry picking...

Collins and Ramona were close friends throughout the year. In true form, they hung out that morning being sure to pick strawberries on the same row and frequently holding hands. :) Unfortunately, they won't be in class together next year, but we have promised to have playdates over the summer.

What a cute take-home gift! Collins knew exactly where to place it..next to our garden of course. (Neema is a such a sweet girl, and we are excited she is in our class next year.)

Ms. Edelson was funny, warm, and really loving to Collins.

Ms. Escuti was patient, kind, and encouraging.

The teachers presented each kid with a superlative to sum up their year and a cute certificate. I love that Collins won the "Most Likely to Find the Places Where Mermaids Hide with her Imaginative Insight". Shows how well they know her!

And the final class photo...as Collins pointed out, not many people are smiling but aren't they cute? Just so we will remember, there is Noah, Emma, Katherine, Neema, Austin, Ms. Escuti, Olive, Kinsey, Gil, Blake, Korbin, Ramona and Ms. Edelson.

What a year of growth for Collins. Now on to the 4's!
