The bad news is that Brian's Father's Day was not relaxing or focused just on him. But the good news is that he was okay with that and that we are officially decorated and ready to go for a week of VBS!
Laura and I had the idea to turn our VBS headquarters into "The Hut" and it turned out so cute...
Our ladies in charge of decorations did a great job. We are ready to "Roar!"
Our tradition is for Mom to come to town to take care of whoever is not going to Vacation Bible School. So she came to watch Luke, and Alli, Donna and Marty came over for a Father's Day dinner. We threw together a burger dinner in about an hour which was highly stressful but pretty tasty.
The kids were excited to celebrate their Dad because he is one of the very best! We are all so lucky, and we know that every day- not just on a chaotic Father's Day. :)
