To start off October (my favorite month of the year) we got socked with 11 straight days of rain. Not fun for anyone- especially for my sister who moved to Charleston just in time for a historic flood! She is fine, but it was a little scary.
In Raleigh, we only lost power briefly and had to deal with the headache of moving around in the rain. Fortunately, the girls looked really cute in their rain gear. :)
Once the clouds started to lift, we got outside for a walk around the neighborhood. I promised the girls we could go splash in puddles...
Both girls ended up face planting in this puddle and came home sopping wet, but they had fun.
The sun finally came back this week, and we have been soaking up every ray. Now we can finally get on with the perfect October weather!
