Weekend Itinerary
When Poppy and Nana come to town, I go into event planner mode. Yes, let's see how much fun we can cram into 24 hours. :)
First on the itinerary? A North Hills experience that my kids were very excited about. Because really nothing is better than a matinee of "The Incredibles 2" when you are watching from leather recliners next to your grandparents...
Unless you're Luke and you spill a drink and snacks everywhere, crawl all over Mom, and start talking out loud and have to be removed from the premises...but that's okay because it's more fun out in the sunshine anyway.
We crossed over to the other side of North Hills where we had a tasty dinner at Cowfish...
and celebrated Nana's birthday a few days early!
The next morning, we headed to the Museum of Life and Science in Durham...their outdoor exhibits are awesome so we spent all our time exploring them.
A lunch at our favorite BBQ place, Picnic, finished off the itinerary. Fun never stops with Poppy and Nana!
