Weekend Things

Dad and Heather were coming to town and the Tar Heels were playing in the Sweet 16- we needed to celebrate with cake! What you don't see in this picture is a fifth dessert that we felt the need to get. :)

So we had a brat dinner and a Hayes Barton dessert buffet (a dream come true). AND the Tar Heels won putting them in the Elite 8. An outstanding night!

Oh and Poppy got to hang out with this cute wiggle worm...

The next morning, Addie and Brian headed off to Addie's first-ever soccer game and the rest of us headed to the art museum. Collins was actually into it which was cool...

And so was Luke! It was his first cultural experience. He is loving facing out in the Ergo and did really well walking around the museum.

They have added a new slide to the outdoor sculpture park and the girls were loving it...

After our Raleigh activities were over, we headed to Durham to have lunch and see Al's new house. Love that we now have a whole new city to explore now that Al is living there. We ate at a new BBQ place (Picnic) which was delicious. Collins sucked those ribs clean...(her Dad was so proud)

And the house is so cute and cozy! Alli and Ryan have done a great job making it feel like a home. Such a fun weekend.
