Christmas with Poppy and Nana

Biltmore was a special part of our family Christmas with Dad, Heather, and Alli, but we also got to celebrate together the next morning in Hickory. We had a fun breakfast and then the girls were off to the races! After all the celebrating we had done lately, they knew what was coming next...

Collins's dream came true- her own iPad! She was so excited especially when she saw Elsa on the front screen!

We always joke that Brian and Heather are geography nerds so it perfect that Brian received a map of Bald Head Island...

Addie's new tutu and headband inspired her to perform a balance move...

After some great gifts, we decided to take advantage of the warm weather (i.e. humid, icky, non-Christmas-y weather) and go for a walk around the block.

Collins brought her iPad along because she figured out she could take pictures with it. She took pictures of literally everything in sight. Luckily, 6th Street in Hickory is quite picturesque (and she missed that dog doo we passed). :)

We had such a fun morning and were grateful for the time together during Christmas. But after lunch, we had to say goodbye and head back to Raleigh because we had one final surprise in store for the girls...
