With all the time in the world on our hands, I decided it was time for a different kind of education. We had talked about animals and space and the human body, but how about a dose of reality- like how to do the laundry? Addie is old enough to help out with the laundry, and I had never taken the time to show her how to do it (a miss on my part). Well, I took her through the steps and let her do it all by herself. Of course that turned into her inserting herself in the actual washing machine and cracking herself up. :)
But I think it opened her eyes to how much goes into doing five people's laundry, and maybe- just maybe- she might help out more often?!?
