Finishing Up the Weirdest School Year

It was not pretty, but we all survived three months of remote learning to end the third grade and kindergarten.  It was not fun driving by Lacy and seeing an eerily empty school. It was not easy getting the girls to concentrate on their devices and actually learn. It was not easy to occupy Luke while helping the girls. It was not easy being in the house with each other all day every day! But we were lucky because I had the ability to help them with remote learning while many working parents did not. And we survived! We finished up the school year with a cupcake drop to Addie's class, a visit from her teacher, a slideshow for Collins to summarize the year, and a Lacy carpool parade through the neighborhood. Goodbye hard school year, hello summer!
