The kids decided they wanted to start their own businesses, and each one got pretty excited about being an entrepreneur. Of course, they each started a business near and dear to their own hearts...
Luke had a truck toy store called "The Construction Site" where you could buy any truck you wanted (and there was a large selection!)...
Addie created a cell phone store. :) She made phones out of cardboard in all different colors, priced them according to value, and then sold us her favorites.
Of course, Collins opened up a bakery. Was it an excuse to make and eat her chocolate chip cookies? Perhaps, but she also got into menu planning, advertising, and displaying her product.
The whole thing turned into a really fun business lesson and was a good use of a lazy afternoon!
