Each kid at school gets a "special day" to recognize their birthday. Addie's came about a month late because of my inability to get my act together earlier in the month. She was a bit confused as to why we were celebrating her birthday again, but she gladly wore a crown and accepted her helping child duties.
Mrs. Escuti made Addie a birthday cake, and she got to blow out the candles...
She chose our snack and some fancy napkins and plates...thought it was pretty funny when all the kids asked if they could take their fancy napkin home?
Also thought it was funny when Henry, the vegetarian in the class, accidentally got served a ham roll-up and loved it and asked for more!
Addie had a great time and so did I. Such a cute class!
