We switched things up this year. A new Christmas plan put us in Hickory at a different time than we would normally be there, and it was a fun change. We got to eat Christmas dinner on Christmas night at Mom's house which was really special!
Collins was all for the mistletoe concept...
Mimi had some interesting-shaped packages around her tree this year...not that the girls really even noticed!
Her own chair!!! Addie LOVES to sit in her sister's chair like this so she was pretty thrilled to receive one of her own...she kept confirming, "Addie chair", "Addie chair".
I think Baba really liked the new Pioneer Woman cookbook that we got her...it was even signed, "To Baba, Love Ree". :)
Addie was all business on her new phone...
The doggies didn't get quite as excited as the rest of us about the present exchange...
Mom's face says it all...she was touched by Alli's gift of our all-time favorite shot of hers.
And Aunt Alli's other home run gift...a new dress rack for the girls! She and Ryan designed and made this- amazing! It really is perfect for my dress-up-loving girls.
And look what they got to put on that new rack? Beautiful new gowns thanks to the creativity and sewing skills of Mimi!
They were so excited! Addie's first long gown...and it came not a moment too soon.
What great gifts we all received, and it was so fun watching all of it unfold with a camera and a glass of wine in hand. :)
Mom made us a delicious turkey dinner, and we relaxed and enjoyed ourselves over a great meal. Such a special night!
