These chocolate peanut butter bars mean one thing...VACATION TIME!!!
I try to make these bars only once a year- for Mimi's summer vacation- that's why they are so special. Also, they are made of chocolate, peanut butter, butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla wafers so really what's not to love? I am expected to make these for each vacation, and now we require two pans of bars instead of one. And let's be real- if I made three pans- they would all get eaten. But we have to draw the line somewhere don't we?
For the 2020 edition of these vacation bars, Luke was helping me make them and we were talking about how excited we were to go to a new vacation spot the next day...this year the bars would be headed to Figure 8 Island!
