Perfect Park Day

One Thursday in May, we had perhaps what was our best park day ever. (And that's saying a lot because we have spent A LOT of time at parks over the last seven years.)

We had a playdate planned at Banbury Park with Addie's class friends- Tyler, Margaret, and Molly Kate. Luke was ready too with his packed lunch!

The kids started at the creek, of course...

 

which Luke happily discovered for the first time.

 

Addie had a great time until I locked my keys in my car and AAA had to come save us. :)

 

Because we had not had enough outside time that morning, we went back for more that afternoon...this time at Fletcher Park. They cartwheeled, explored, and climbed trees...

This time the big girls joined us, and we had all six kids running around on a glorious Spring afternoon. Sun shining, breeze blowing, and not a care in the world. Like I said, the perfect park day!
