The last time we took the kids to an air show, it was a disaster. So we might have been crazy to even consider going to another one, but we decided to roll the dice. Turns out, they actually liked it I think!
This time it was at RDU, and it was old WWII planes. It was hot and there were long lines, but we didn't stand in any of them. We just checked out the cool planes...

They were actually giving rides in the old plane...
which was neat to see especially when a modern plane took off beside it.
Poor Luke had to endure the airplane show during nap time so this one of the few smiles we got that afternoon...
This nice pilot was trying to give the girls a mini flying lesson, but they were much more interested in the giveaway section next to the plane. They were giving away squishy planes and candy!!! Hence the reason the girls enjoyed the air show. :)
