TRS Carnival

Addie was very excited to take the fam to her preschool carnival the first Saturday in April. She and I were ready with our pie entry....

This year we made peanut butter pie with chocolate ganache...which took home 2nd place! Addie didn't understand what that meant and insisted that we won. I tried to explain that we did not, but eventually just gave up and told her we did. :)

They had come up with a strategy in advance- ice cream, bounce house, face painting- in that order I think!

 

It couldn't have been a more gorgeous day for the event...

I was proud of Collins..not just that she went to the top of the rock wall. But that she failed the first time up (went most of the way up and then came back down) and decided to go back a second time to complete the challenge.

 

 

 The girls had a good time as usual, and Brian and I were ready to leave as usual. :)

State was having their Spring game at the same time so we stopped by since it was such a pretty day. And Brian was not unhappy that Luke got to step foot in Carter Finley for the first time!
