We were able to get these adorable beds from our neighbors. Their daughters had outgrown them, and they wanted them to go to a good home. Then we had to paint them, and Brian had to figure out how to put them together. It was not a quick process, but we eventually got them finished...and how cute are they?!?
The girls love them! Of course, Addie can't sleep on hers yet until she becomes a good sleeper. We really hope this bribe works for our not-so-great sleeping child. The baby has to sleep in our room for awhile anyway so there is no rush getting Addie out of her crib, but we have a big-girl bed ready for her when she is ready. And in the meantime, she is enjoying playing on her bed.
Collins started sleeping on her bed immediately, and it is going really well. I was nervous it might be hard for her to go from sleeping in a double bed to a twin bed, but she doesn't care and likes the added bonus of being up high.
Full reveal of the girls' shared room once it's finally complete. But finishing the bunks was a big step in the right direction!
