Lemonade for Sale!

It was literally the first really warm Spring day when Collins quickly requested a lemonade stand. That didn't take long! I granted the request (even though it required an emergency trip to the store for lemonade) and was glad I did. They had a great time!

I didn't think they'd get much business, but I was wrong. They sold all their lemonade and made seven whole dollars! Not bad when you are charging a quarter per glass. They insisted on wearing the new pink bathing suits I had bought them earlier that day at Target, and they looked pretty darn cute. Not sure if it was their cuteness or the perfect weather that drove in the customers, but regardless, the first lemonade stand of the season was a big success!

It's not actually surprising that we ran out of lemonade considering how much was consumed behind-the-counter...

This cute little neighbor biked over for some lemonade then came back a second time getting lemonade for a friend!

 

Here Addie is yelling for Pop Pop to come get some lemonade from across the neighborhood...

he must have heard her because he came!

They were quite proud of themselves. I'm sure this lemonade stand will be the first of many this summer!
