New Adventures for Al

Big news! Alli has up and moved to Charleston. It's weird/sad to not have her in Raleigh with us anymore, but I am really excited about this new chapter in her life. She decided to move to Charleston when she got an internship with "Legends" magazine- the Kiawah Island publication that she has idolized for years It really is her dream to work with this magazine, and it is actually happening!!! She is going to get first-hand exposure to great photographers and writers and will get to work in her favorite location in the world! We are thrilled for her.

She has found a roommate and will be living in West Ashley. She'll also be working at a restaurant in Charleston called Rutledge Cab Company. Mom and I helped her move down last week, and it went much smoother than anticipated (let's just say I didn't see me driving a large moving van down 95 going well). But after the moving and sweating, Mom treated us to a really fun dinner in Charleston.

I am so proud of my sister for braving a lot of change and going for her dream. I know this move will be the start of wonderful things ahead for her!

And by the way- how is it that the three of us gals (who are all camera happy) were in one of the prettiest cities in  the country and only managed to get this one sad shot out the car window? We will do better the next time we go and visit Charleston's newest resident!
