It's not every day that you get to meet a fairy. But on one special day at Mimi's house, Collins did.
She had just donned the new fairy costume that Mimi had made her (upon request) and looked out the window when she saw her.
"What?!?"...you should have seen her face...equal parts confusion and happiness.
Her name was Brucie-Arabella, and she flew over from a forest not far away. She was a woodland fairy who had a wreath of flowers around her head, long wavy hair, and gigantic sparkly wings. Collins was a little shy at first, but soon warmed up to the fairy.
She read her a fairy story...
described the fairy house where she lived...
gave her her own special fairy purse with fairy dust hidden inside...
and Collins's favorite part...showed her how to make a fairy house!
Addie stayed busy during the fairy visit cuddling with Baba...
Brucie-Arabella's final fairy trick? Showing Collins how to make a special paper flower...
By the end of the visit, Collins and Brucie-Arabella were fast friends. And then as fast as she appeared, she was off! And Mimi had one more final surprise for the girls...a special tea party! Such a memorable and fun afternoon at Mimi's house!
